Danny (Chris Pine) is smart, handsome, popular, and blind...and not just physically: He also can't see how wild women are for him! Even his sexy therapist (Jane Seymour) can't keep her clothes on around Danny! After a series of painful "blind dates" set up by his brother (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Danny falls for a young Indian woman named Leeza (Anjali Jay), and finally everything seems picture perfect. But when cultures clash, and Leeza reveals that she's been promised to someone else, Danny must prove to her that there's more to love than meets the eye!

In the process of undergoing a risky experimental surgery that could partially restore his eyesight, Danny (Chris Pine), a blind 20-something, meets the woman of his dreams (Anjali Jay), only to find out that she's been promised to another guy (Sendhil Ramamurthy). But if love is really blind … then Danny has the odds on his side. Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie) co-stars in this contemporary romantic comedy.

Romantic comedy about a blind 22 year old who falls in love with an Indian girl who has been arranged to get married to another man. Oh and he is a virgin. In course of the movie his brother tries to fix him up with girls so he goes on dates that dont turn out so well. The movie is an excellent mix of slapstick comedy and romantic comedy. With a happy ending.

I just saw Blind Dating, and I really liked it. It was fairly well acted and, more importantly, it had heart.

What I'm confused about is the cover to the film, it looks like a teenage movie with hot girls and bad jokes, but it's everything but. Chris Pine's portrait of a blind guy seems very real to me, and I really felt for him throughout the whole movie. The story is somewhat obvious, and not that inventive, but it has a point, and even though it's sometimes a little cliché it's still very decent and enjoyable. (After all IT IS a comedy/drama, there just has to bee some parts we all know.)

Everybody are just human, after all. It doesn't matter if you are visually impaired, what skin color you have or what your heritage is. Watch this flick if you want to feel a little better.
